Aviation is in my blood, with a family history of military and civilian pilots. I am an ex-RAF avionics engineer and gained my PPL some years after leaving the RAF.
I still rush outside to watch passing aircraft, camera in hand to photo anything interesting. Air shows are a favourite activity, as well as visiting low fly areas.
